Catching Up

It's certainly been a while since I posted to this blog. Not that there hasn't been enough to talk about. The last year has seen me working on contract for the Dept of Ed, until I finally landed steady work with the Nunavut Research Institute.

In the meantime, I have been volunteering with fundraising to rebuild St. Jude's Cathedral. Meetings every week and events once a month. I have also been volunteering with Air Cadets as a Civilian Instructor as well as PR rep.

This last November the corp rented a twin otter and the pilots flew us 20 minutes out of Iqaluit, down the Bay and back. They took 15 of us at a time and flew between 500 and 1500 ft. It was a great photo op.
